Luminated offers different network services:

Consulting for network setup (LAN, WiFi and cabled, routing and switching)
Different Internet services:
- Renting (optionally also setup and management) of VPS (virtual private servers, provided by 3rd parties)
- Web hosting (home page, e-mail etc. on shared server)
- E-mail (specialiced service with guaranteed good sender IP reputation)
- Domain name registration

Luminated mainly offer services in three areas:

Consulting

We are involved in both short, independant jobs, and bigger projects over time. This involves:

Planning
Counselling
Installation
Setup and configuration

We also take some customer support, data rescue/salvation tasks, and other smaller jobs, but we don’t have the capacity, nor wish for providing such services on a larger scale.

Development

We are not a typical software developer company, but we still have quite some experience with setting up backend (server configuration, hardware etc.) and in configuring and customizing different content management systems (CMS). We have have both developed our own solutions (in Ruby, Python and PHP) and customized, configured and used systems like Joomla, Bolt CM, CMS Made Simple, HTMLy, Subrion, Grav, HTMLy, Drupal, October CMS, TextPattern, MiddleMan, Jekyll, Hugo og Wordpress.

Lately Luminated have worked on setting and rolling out web sites, everything from infrastructure, configuration, setup and implementation of designer provided/custom UI’s (implementing PSD’s/Photoshop designs). We have also been working on installing and configuring FreePBX systems (IP telephony), and we have designer, upgraded and implemented network infrastructure (routers, switches, and wireless access points, mainly Mikrotik/Routerboard hardware).

We have broad experience with many different brands of PC hardware and network equipment. When it comes to network equipment, we have worked with everything from Allied Telesis, HP, Apple, Cisco, NetGear, Asus, ZyXEL, TP-Link and many others. When it comes to PC hardware, we have worked with most of the regular brands available, but we do have certain brands we recommend above others.

The list below consists of equipment we both can offer and which we have good experiences with. (We can also order most other brands, of course. But we will, escpecially when it comes to network gear, recommend the equipment where we have more knowledge and experience.)
